This Premier bus will pick you up at Otter Valley at 5am on Saturday May 11th. PLEASE park on the south end of the parking lot. We will leave at 5am. Not 5:05am, not 5:10am. If you arrive at 5:05am, you're gonna see taillights! We will travel in comfort and arrive in NYC around 10:30am/11:00am. We will land in Bryant Park, which is a couple streets over from Times Square. You will go off and have fun. The bus will return at 9:00pm. We will meet at the statue where we get dropped off. If you have gone on Christmas trips, its not quite as crowded but still busy. *You can bring a pillow and blanket and leave them on the bus. You can't access them during the day, but you also don't have to carry them all over the place. *Kids are welcome, but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. *We will play a movie or two. If you don't want to watch it, bring headphones. *You can bring a cooler on the bus and leave it on the bus, but again, you cannot access it during the day. *I suggest that you begin to research and purchase tickets now. Don't get tickets for an event at 11:00am, or 11:30. The traffic can be weird.

OtterBots First Lego League Robotics - 2024 Monthly Otterbot Meetings Come join the OtterBots FIRST Lego League for fun and adventure in STEM. STEM is a vital part of education and what better way to get involved at an early age than with community support and robots. Tomorrow’s innovators practice imaginative thinking and teamwork. Guided by adult Coaches, FIRST LEGO League teams research a real-world problem such as food safety, recycling, energy, etc., and are challenged to develop a solution. They also must design, build and program a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology, then compete on a table-top playing field. It all adds up to tons of fun while participants learn to apply science, technology, engineering, and math concepts (STEM), plus a big dose of imagination, to solve a problem. Along their journey, they develop critical thinking and team-building skills, basic STEM applications, and presentation skills, as they present their solutions to judges.
