Youth Basketball in the '733 is an opportunity for kids to learn from our volunteer coaches about Dr. Naismith's amazing invention. Developmentally appropriate skills will be honed and life lessons around team work, good sportsmanship, fair play and fun will be gained during these winter seasons.
U6 (Pre-K/Kindergarten) AND U8 (1st/2nd)Basketball-Once a week Saturday morning sessions starting in January will help familiarize these bitty-ballers in basketball 101. Mini hoops, lowered hoops and hula hoops are among the tools used to instruct kids.

U10 Basketball- Games played against outside competition. Practice 2 times a week. Games begin in January. Season ends in Mid-February.

U12 Basketball- Games played against outside competition. Practices 2 times a week. Games begin end of December. Games will mostly occur on Saturdays with some mid week games. Teams may compete at Tournaments held at Middlebury Rec, Randolph Elementary, Rutland Rec Community Center & West Rutland School. Season ends 2nd week in March. LATE FEE APPLIED AFTER START OF FIRST PRACTICE
