"Hey all you Cheering Fans, Stand Right Up and Clap Your Hands!"
The Brandon Rec department to offer Youth cheerleading for area youth.  Historically, cheerleading acted as support for sports such as football and basketball; it has evolved into its’ own form of athletic competition.  This is a great way to access the basics of cheering, focusing on form, dance and (of course) cheers! 

Grades 3 - 6 - Meets 3 times a week, with occasional gym time at Head over Heels.  Will participate in a youth competition and perform some sideline cheers specially selected OV JV games.

Grades K - 2 - An introduction to cheer, meets once per week and will learn a routine for performance.

Grades 3-6
Mandatory Informational Meeting is November 18th 5:30 pm at the Neshobe School
Tuesday/Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 at OV North Campus Gym
Sunday 11:00 - 12:00 at The Neshobe School

Grades K-2
Meeting TBD
Sundays 12:00 - 1:00

Some tumbling classes, sideline cheering, competition will be outside of those regular times.
Cheer shoe purchase not included with registration fee.
